Friday night footy

Kim has to work today from 7am to 7pm so we are flying solo. We headed down to Redcliffe and walked along the beach road. We stopped to have a cuppa in our favourite cafe there, “Kashmir”, and looked at all the beautiful teapots and nic nacs they have in there. We saw the marriage celebrant that conducted Tarran and Karens commitment ceremony and stopped and talked for a while, she is a really interesting person. After we finished our delicious traditional chai tea we walked back to the car and headed for the supermarket to buy some ingredients for our dinner, we had rice paper rolls.....yummo. When we got back to Kim’s we didn’t really do much at all other than relax and I decided that I needed to complete the first square of my knitting seeing as though mum and gran have done a whole row each (that consists of 8 squares) so I got cracking and finished it and even managed to join a new color. Football was on tonight and we had a chance to watch the team we tipped win for once. Not long after the footy finished it was time yet again for bed.
