So after some more down pours through the night I woke up to a rainy morning and tackled the bloody cross trainer again...but did do 12 minutes so YAY. Found out the creeks were up so when Tanya called me to say she was in Coona I told her she might have to come River Road, which she did but it was all good and she got here safe & sound. Thanks to Lorraine & Gran for delivering her & my beautiful little puppies to me :) So we had left over Indian for lunch & then headed off to dad's place for the next 6 days of relaxing. We unpacked the roof racks as a bit of water had gotten in and have everything dried and ready to be packed up again next week. We spent the arvo chatting to dad with a few drinks and watching the wild life in the gardens....man the hares here are as big as Izzy...but Charlie still thought that she would try & catch one...lol. Kris came home from work and we had a beautiful "Abendbrot" (which is a German meal of breads, cold meats, cheeses, olives, etc).....So good. So now the puppies are totally worn out sleeping on the couch and it is just about bed time for us too.
Night xo
Well Tamworth, it has been great but I must leave you yet again. So as I drive away with a tear in my eye I think about putting Neil Diamond on the car stereo and singing all the way to Coona with my Mum and Gran....oh and the puppies of course. I drove over to Coona so Mum only had to drive back. It rained most of the way but all in all was a good trip. Mum and I got singing like old times and the puppies were so well behaved in the back with Gran. We arrived at Serena's and I had a tear in my beer as I said goodbye to two of the most beautiful women in my life, I always dread that part of visiting. It is great to see Serena, Dave and the kidlets, who mind you are getting more like young adults now, and I wandered around the garden looking at all the beautiful plants, flowers and mushrooms popping up out of the lawn. I couldn't resist and had to take some photos which I know my Mum will love to see. I then had a sample of Alvo's delicious Indian Feast from last night and we headed off to Norm and Kris' place on the hill. I always love coming here because I feel so close to nature and the sound of the little creatures at night is just so wonderful. A couple of rums were had with Norm before Kris arrived home from a hard days work at the telescope. We then feasted on some great little tidbits of anchovy stuffed olives, onions, tomatoes, cold cuts, mustard and chilli. It was just what the doctor ordered. I grabbed a hot shower as these nights are a little cool for my liking and will soon be retiring to bed. The wildlife here is just amazing and I got to see so much this afternoon and now I can hear the frogs and crickets in the night. The sunset was a great photo opportunity and just as beautiful as ever. I love being amongst nature, I think it really grounds me. I hope to get to the National Park during this visit.

Indian Feast
Another early wake up today and I willed myself out of bed knowing I had to go on the cross trainer....am getting over it already....lol....but I did manage to do 11 minutes today, so go me again :) Although Serena keeps out doing me by a minute...lol. We watched Tomorrow When The War Began, which was pretty good. The weather was bleak and yucky again but did manage to warm up after lunch and was then really hot. Then I began my Indian cook up which took me all afternoon but it was worth the effort as usual and was appreciated by everyone. We got a wild storm for half an hour which cooled things down again. The weather is just crazy at the moment. And congratulations to Chloe for getting her P's today....so very proud of her. So that is about the extent of my day and I am now looking forward to Tanya coming over to Coona tomorrow.
Night xo
Ahhhh Monday and no work.....First cab off the rank today is my good friend Kay the group fitness instructor, she deserves a massage and some healing so off I went. I then sat and spoke to my old boss and good friend Robbie about a job her hubby wants me to do starting.....tomorrow. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be on a road trip but couldn't resist speaking to her hubby about it. I am now gunning to start driving a dump truck at Boggabri tomorrow but need to consider my better half and our plans of going to the hunter and yes....it will be our anniversary. So I reluctantly had to phone Lindsay tonight and decline his great opportunity. He was gracious and told me not to worry as he would keep me well informed of any up and coming positions going and June is going to be big so lets hope we can strike a deal then. I headed home for lunch as my long lost buddy Nellie had not contacted me with her movements for the day and you guessed it....as soon as I sat down for lunch she proposed a coffee date so that would fill the rest of my afternoon. I met her at the gym so we didn't have to find parking for two cars and we hit Peel Street. We decided that coffee was not the way to go and walked into the Tudor with alcohol on our minds. We sat, we drank and we chatted about all sorts of goings on then wandered around town doing the few jobs she had lined up before she dropped me back at the gym and bid me farewell. It is way too long between catch ups with her, she is a great mate. I got home just in time for the gravy to be made and poured on my Grans best rissoles....I love them. Our night then consisted of watching Heartbeat and any other old comedy we could find before retiring early in readiness for our trip to Coona tomorrow.

More rain
So being Sunday, of course I woke up at 7.30 instead of my usual time of 9am....lucky I can sleep in every other day :) And yes it was raining ...again. So I did my morning cross training session....8 minutes today....go me....lol. I managed to get a Facetime chat with Danielle in between her having Tequila shots at the mansion....god love her.....I still get up her about drinking even though she is 19.....oh & anyone reading this going OMG she was drinking Tequila in the morning....she is in America where it was night time :) Dad came down at 10.30 to do his Sunday ritual of cross words with Serena & I painted my toe nails.....made pesto cause Serena has a mountain of basil & she really needs to invest in a new blender.... But once again did very little all day but laze around on the lounge & watched The Bachelor which I am ashamed to say I actually got hooked on it so when we had to be up at Belinda's at 5 o'clock I had to put it on when we got there to see who got sent home...lol...how lame. Had a few drinks & a catch up with Belinda, came home, had dinner & watched Water for Elephants....great movie.
Night xo
This morning I hauled a good mates lazy butt to the gym for a boxing session....thankyou to Nellie at Club Synergy for allowing me to use the outdoor boxing room. It was great to catch up with her and show her just how much fitness she has lost over the last 12 months. I am a trainer after all and that is my job. I returned home in time to have some lunch and then head off to spiritualist church with Ma. I received some great healing, saw some wonderful friends and even got a message or two from the other side. Thankyou Gemma for helping me with the healing process and being honest about the angel wings that protect me. We sang some fun songs and heard some great words from enlightened ones. The millennium prayer was a beautiful song to finish on as we all held hands and joined together as one. Not a great deal to report for the late afternoon other than another delicious meal for dinner and some great company until it was time for bed.

Into town
Wow I am getting used to these 9am sleep ins.....and David made us bacon & eggs for breakfast which was nice to have again. But before I had them I went on the cross trainer....7 minutes today....woo hoo :) And surprise surprise it rained again today. Serena & I went to town and had a coffee at the Jollie Collie, where dad hangs out with all his motorbike mates....but we sat inside because the conversation at that table is all just a bit too riveting for us...lol....but dad did come in and sit with us for a while. We went for a wander down the street which was extremely quiet and then went to Woolies to buy a few things which took us about an hour....you forget what it is like to be in a small town and stop in every aisle to chat....and that was Serena, not me....lol. And speaking of talking to people I saw a girl down the street who I used to be very good friends with when I lived in Coona and I was totally surprised when it seemed like a big effort to even say hello to me when I stopped and then she just walked away and then I saw her again in Woolies and she totally ignored me....some people are very rude and although I should not care why she did this it just makes me wonder.....is it just a time thing....is it cause I am not with Craig anymore...or is it that she doesn't like my lifestyle now....hmmmmm.....very narrow minded whatever the case I think. Anyway that is my gripe for the day. So the rest of the day consisted of very little except watching another favourite movie, Night at the Museum 2 :)
Night xo
Started the day by visiting my very good friends Brian and Mick and spent a couple of hours there chatting about spiritual stuff and general goings on. When I got home Mum then took Gran to the club for a while and I stayed home to try out my new Qigong DVD. It is great and I will be practising it regularly. More relaxing was had in the afternoon, nothing interesting to report really so will leave it there for today.

Rainy Day
Well another 9am sleep in and I managed to do 6 minutes on the cross trainer today....and even though Serena said she would only do 5 minutes she didn't want to be outdone so she did 6 minutes as well....and threw in a minute cool down....lol...I think the challenge is on :) So spent another day of doing nothing at all except lazing around, Skyping with Danielle, talking to Chloe and doing stuff on the computer. It has been raining on & off all day and it is forecast to rain alot next week so lucky I don't want to do much. Had a beautiful dinner of creamy garlic yabbies and left overs and am now watching one of my favourite movies, A Night at the Museum.
Night xo
5.30am alarm and I was up and ready to go on the Limbri bus run. Pop tells me it is beautiful up there so equiped with my camera I took the puppies up to Grandma and headed off in the ute with him. What can I say....he was right. He has one of the most beautiful offices on offer and can't believe he gets paid to drive up there. I took some nice photos, the river and scenery as we wound our way around the dirt road was just magic. I even got to have a kip in the bus as we waited at one of his stopping points. I have not seen a Wallaroo for a long time so felt special to see many of them this morning. He gets to do the run both mornings and afternoons and feels like he should be paying his boss for letting him do his job in such a wonderful environment. On returning home Mum and I went to see Shirley her massage lady to find another Qigong DVD. We got one and I will give it a go tomorrow I think. I headed for a little nap when we got home and before I knew it....it was lunchtime. After lunch it was time for another nap and I nodded off after starting to read the book that came with my new DVD. I met a friend at the gym later in the afternoon and we chatted about fitness, weights and the mental struggle of achievement. She has made some great achievements over the last 12months and it was great to hear all about it. It is my night to cook so headed off from the gym with Nacho's on my mind. Everyone loved them, I was nervous about it. Pop was a worry as he is very much a meat and 3 veg kind of guy but he was impressed. I have been chatting to Alvo tonight via Viber and won't be long out of bed.

Happy Australia Day
Happy Australia Day everyone...I hope you all had a great day and got to relax a bit & have a few bevies....Can't say we did a great deal today....Although I did decide that I need to do a bit of exercise and Serena has a cross trainer so I went on it & lasted a whole 5 minutes.....and bloody hell I thought I was having a heart attack.....i did feel good though & will aim for 6 minutes tomorrow....lol. I did some washing & made a sticky date pudding but that was about the extent of it. Dad & Kris came down in the arvo and we had an afternoon of nibbles, drinks and an awesome bbq for dinner....can't get much better than that. And the sticky date pudding was super good :)
Night xo
Mum and I started the day with an Aura photo which was great and told of all things positive. I dropped Mum and Pop over town to have a wander around and while I was gone Gran cooked the stirfry for dinner tonight so when I got home I did almost an hour of Qigong.....I love doing that. I then piled Gran in the car so we can meet the rest of the crew at the Town Hall for the show. Frank Ifield appeared and introduced a number of great acts who paid tribute to artists such as Dolly Parton, John Denver, Johnny Cash and Shania Twain and then John Stephan "The Voice" sang. He is very talented and there were a few songs sung throughout the show that Dad used to do so drew a few tears out of me. The family thoroughly enjoyed it and are very appreciative of the free tickets. Gran was clapping and tapping so was well worth it. I then went home and the crew headed over to the club. I had a bit of a nanna nap and then a couple of ciders while waiting for the crew to come home then after dinner enjoyed a couple of nips of Pops 1999 Kiwi Liqueur.....awesome. A text from a great mate sparked me to get up and dressed as she was picking me up to head over town for a drink or two. Mum refused to let me walk up the road to meet her so she drove me to the corner and then waited till Kath got there before driving off.....she is such a great Mum. Catching up with Kath and Mother Moore was just great and was up dancing to a great band out the back of the Albert in no time. Home, stealth ninja again, by 12.30am then set the alarm for 5.30am to go with Pop on his bus run. Puppies waiting in bed for me when I arrived.....love it.

See ya Tamworth from Alvo
So the time has come for me to leave Tamworth. I am going over to Coonabarabran on my own & Tanya will come over on Tuesday with her mum. Thank you to Lorraine, Graham & Gran for having me & cooking lots of lovely meals & Gran for giving us her Granny flat :) So we left in the rain & had to go to the Doctors and then I dropped Tanya off to her mum at the hairdressers. I called in to see Craig and got to see Ann & Trevor again which was nice and Ann was giving away tickets to see a tribute show presented by Frank Ifield (and I know most of you have no clue who he is) but I know Tanya likes him so I got her some tickets so she could take her family to see it. She was very excited about it but I think her mum is even more excited. So a huge thank you to Ann, it was greatly appreciated. Then I headed off in the rain to Gunnedah where I caught up with a lovely young lady who I have not seen for years. Ashleigh, your mum would be very proud of you xo
Then off in the rain again to Coona. Glad to be here and see my lovely sister Serena and David, Luke & meet the exchange student from Thailand, Eve. Chloe let me know that she has finally got her text from QLD Transport to say her L's book has been marked so she can go for her P's, which she has booked in for next Monday...fingers crossed for her. Anyway I am off to bed as I don't really want to watch the tennis. Tanya is out at The Borderers tonight in Tamworth so she will have to add her blog tomorrow.
Night xo
Alvo made me head to the doctor for girlie stuff......so that started my day. Alvo left me at the hairdressers with Mum and Gran and headed off on the next leg of her trip. I then went with the crew over to do the grocery shopping and recieved a message from Alvo regarding the tickets. I think my Mum almost wet her pants and we are grateful for the opportunity to go with the free tickets from Ann so thankyou very much from all of us. The show is on tomorrow so will let you know how it goes. I went to The Borderers concert tonight with Brian and Mick who as usual dressed in their kilts and looked fantastic. Meeting Alex and Jim again and having a chat with them was just great and they always do an awesome show so there was plenty of dancing. We ended the night with a visit to the Services club where I saw my great mate Cath so we had a bit of a catch up and it was great to see her. I was like a stealth ninja coming home tonight and did not set off the security light or disturb the dogs so spent my first night without the puppies in my bed, they stayed inside with their Grandma.

Nothing
Well today we have exceeded ourselves in the doing absolutely nothing stakes. Got up at 9am, had breakfast (no bacon & eggs by request), had lunch, had dinner & now I am ready for bed at 8.45. Oh we packed so technically we did do something, and I guess I did do alot of stuff on the computer and Skyped with Danielle & Chloe so that kept me a little bit amused. So I am off to Coona in the morning to spend a couple of weeks with my family and I can't wait to see them.
Night xo
Yep....definitely did nothing much at all today. Packing was the extent of my exercise although I have been doing some Qigong on the odd day which is great. Just being here with my Mum and Gran is enough for me.

Happy Birthday Danielle
First of all I have to say a big happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Danielle who is in America and turned 19 today....although technically it is still yesterday there so she will get 2 days of birthday wishes. I love you heaps & miss you more xoxoxox
Also I am very pleased that Chloe & Brenton have arrived safely back in Maryborough.
Anyhow back to me......So after a month off work I am finally starting to be able to go back to sleep after I wake up super early....it's great....except when I have to be woken up for my bacon & eggs...lol....well worth it though. Did absolutely nothing till after lunch when we went to town to do a few things. The thing I have always hated about Country Music Week is getting a park but unbelievably I have fluked one both times very close to the main street, so you gotta be happy with that. We ran in to a few people we knew which was cool and then we went to The Post Office Hotel which used to be the Fitzroy Tavern....now anyone that remembers the Fitzroy...aka "Flecko's" (as much as we loved it) will be pleased to know that it has been gutted & turned into a really nice pub....although it was a bit sad not to see Pammy & Pete (even if he was a grumpy old bastard) there :( Then we went to Coles and headed back home. Tanya & I made Sushi & chicken stir fry for dinner....I had a swim....finished my lovely red wine & now I think it is time for bed.
Night :)
My morning began with heading to one of my favourite places.....Healthy Inspirations to see some of my favourite girls. I was surprising Miss Kay with a leg rub which turned into more of a leg, back, shoulder massage with a bit of reiki thrown in. She was very thankful as usual and begged me to start doing it for a living (along with Robbie backing her up). It was nice to walk down the street at our leisure without having to worry about work or anything. Being able to just walk into the pub and have a cider before hitting the vegie section of Coles is a great feeling. Great arvo of cooking and making sushi with Alvo and then loving that my family liked it all. Pop needed a reflexology session and Gran got a leg rub too. I love this.

More catching up
So just for something different....no bacon & eggs this morning. We didn't do much at all this morning until a bbq lunch and then an attempt at a nanna nap. This didn't happen as Chloe called me to tell me that things have not worked out at the job her & Brenton started 2 weeks ago so they would be leaving and heading back to Maryborough. So she will be in job getting mode big time now. Just when you think things are all good....things like this happen....but I guess these things happen for a reason and something good will come out of it I am sure.
So anyway this arvo we went to the Calala Tavern to catch up with a few more friends which was really nice. Thank you to Bron, Tyler, Kelly, Libby, Mick, Brian, Michelle, Hannah & Jackie for coming, it was great to see you all. So that's about the extent of our exciting day....stay tuned till tomorrow for another riveting episode :)
Night xo
Alvo is right.....not much exciting news to add today. I helped Gran make salads for lunch and dinner while Mum did her walk on the treadmill....for the first time in her life she is trying to lose weight. I could get very used to this no working thing. Great catch up with our mates at the Calala Tavern this arvo then a great BBQ dinner. Not much to report other than it was another great day of spending time with my Mum and Gran....I love them to bits.

The Fabulous Lisa Hunt.....Woo Hoo
Well as we got home a little late last night I did not get to write so here I am today.....So as you can probably guess yesterday started off the same as every other day with bacon & eggs. Tanya went with her mum & gran to look at a couple of houses and I went to the Heights Cafe to catch up with a few of the ladies from the young cancer coffee group that I used to meet with . Thank you Nicky for organising it and to Deb & Narelle for coming. So I caught up on all the local gossip then went home for lunch, Facetimed with Danielle and gave her some reverse psychology tips to use on the kids she nannies for. So we decided that we would catch the bus to town and buy a $10 for 10 days bus pass/wrist bands.....not only was the bus 25 minutes late the driver says "oh sorry I have run out of wrist bands", so we said well we will just buy one when we get to the main terminal in town, which he said was ok. So we go for a round the world in 80 days bus trip, in which he went the wrong way, so when we got off the bus we didn't buy a band cause we don't really want to catch the bus anymore....stupid Tamworth Buslines. Anyway we went to our old local, The Central Hotel for a drink, which was packed & we knew no one, except the bouncer who funny enough I got him that job when I worked at Joblink Plus. Then off to the Services Club to see our beautiful friend Cath, who was very busy working so we had a quick chat, got a drink & put a few dollars in the pokies. And thank you Services Club for giving us a win....came out $70 in front so we were happy. Then we had to catch the bloody bus again to Wests Leagues Club as they don't run their courtesy bus at festival time....We meet up with the lovely Kelly & Libby and their friends and had an absolute ball. Lisa Hunt is such an awesome performer and every song is a dance song. And being the responsible old couple we are we got a lift home after the show & were in bed by 12.30am.
P.S. I tried to upload a video of Lisa Hunt so you can see her in action but it was taking forever so I will try & do it later.

Let the Country Music begin
Now you can probably guess what I woke up to again this morning....yes....bacon & eggs :) I was a bit tired this morning as after waiting up for Tanya till midnight and then being woken up when she did come in and then again when the dogs ran out barking at a bloody cat....I didn't have a great deal of sleep. So after breakfast it was time to go to town & face the music....country that is....lol. Being the first official day it was not too busy but there was still alot of cowboy hats to be seen and the buskers were in full swing. So I went back to Joblink Plus to see a few people I missed the other day, went to Centrelink to sort some stuff out for Chloe which as usual was riveting and makes me glad I do not have to rely on them for anything (yes people, our time off is not funded by Centrelink what so ever) and then to the post office to get our rental bond back only to find out that I can only do it in QLD.....which is bloody handy seen as though we will not be back there till May so I guess I will have to post it & hope for the best. I called in to Aunty Jax Florist to see Mick & Brian and got to meet their new big hairy dog, who is very cute. Came home, had lunch then Face-timed with Danielle, was going to have a Nanna nap but Serena (my sister) called so I talked to her and organised when we are going to Coona, spoke to Chloe, had a swim which was just glorious and then it was beer o'clock. Had a gorgeous lamb roast for dinner, another swim and now it's me & Izzy in the Granny flat chilling out
(& finishing off the mega mini cheesecakes). So Tanya once again misses out writing her blog but I can tell you that she stayed home all day with her Mum & Gran which she just loves doing and is as happy as a pig in mud :) Oh she did give Izzy a haircut so she is super cool again. Goodnight xo

Club day
Well another morning of waking up to bacon & eggs cooked for me.....could get used to this. Had a pretty quiet morning of doing not much except laying on the lounge & Skyping with Danielle until having lunch and then that must have worn me out as I had to have a bit of a nanna nap while watching ready steady cook. When I woke up it was really hot so I thought a swim was in order & thank god this time the pool was perfect....it was just what I needed. So then it was time to tidy up & vacate the premises as Tanya's mum has their house on the market & had an inspection so we had to take the puppies out for a bit. So we went to the Doctors to try and sort out where the hell our medical records are as we changed doctors before we left Tamworth and the practice we changed to had closed down so now we have to try & get our records back....anyway I think we have sorted it out. Then it was off to the club with Lorraine (Tanya's mum), Pop (Tanya's step dad) & Gran (Lorraine's mum) to have a drink & a play on the pokies. We all came out in front on the pokies & Pop won 2 meat trays so we were all happy. So home to a chicken stir fry we made before we left & now I am in the Granny flat with my puppies having a cuppa & eating mini cheesecakes.....and when I say mini, I mean bloody tiny....had to eat 10 to get the taste....lol....very yummy though. So that's me over & out & hopefully I will do something a bit more exciting tomorrow to report on....hhmmmmmm.....I doubt it :)
Now I have been waiting for Tanya to come & write her part of the blog for hours but it is now 11.30pm and I really want to go to bed so she misses out today.....she will have to add it tomorrow if she wants....night xo

Catching up with old friends
Well no sleep in this morning which was a bummer but I did get bacon & eggs cooked for me which was nice. I had to take the last of Danielle's stuff to her grandparents place where i got to see & have a great chat to Trev (my ex father-in-law)....it has been a long time since we had a good talk & it was nice to finally do it. When I left his place I went to the Cancer Council where Ann (my ex mother-in-law) volunteers so I could see her as well. And it has also been a long time between chats with her too so it was great to have time to sit down & talk. Then it was off to my old workplace, Joblink Plus to see everyone there. Got to catch up with lots of people and it was great to see them all again....made me actually miss the place....and funny enough, they have a job going there doing what I just resigned from....maybe I'll apply for it to see if they will hire me back....LOL
Before I knew it, it was nearly 5 o'clock so I went home....we had a couple of drinks....had garlic prawns for dinner and then I thought I would have a swim as it was bloody hot....went to get in & the water was freezing....so just my legs got a cooling down. I will request the solar heating be put on tomorrow so it will be a nice temperature & then I can swim :) So now I am hanging out in the Granny flat with Izzy, having a cuppa. It is only 9.30 but I think I will be in bed very soon.....must be getting old...lol....night xo
Today is Mum's shopping day so after taking Pop to the Doc, Mum, Gran and I headed off. We called in to get our aura photo's done first only to find that they aren't doing them till next Thursday....we booked ourselves in, I can't wait. Shopping was great, I saw a couple of mates and chatted....can't go anywhere without seeing someone you know in this town. Before we knew it the time had well and truly got away (especially after me telling Mum that it was 11.50am while my watch was still on Qld time). Late lunch at home at 2pm and then showed Mum the astrology website Judy got me onto, she is interested. I would love them to meet. I got to cook garlic prawns tonight which was good and then sat and watched some TV with Mum and Gran before coming down to the flat to join Alvo. Bedtime now....Goodnight.

Helloooooo Tamworth
We had another sleep in this morning so had a bit of a late start to hitting the road, although we did manage to leave by 10.15am. It rained alot for the first few hours and then on & off till about Armidale. The puppies were excellent travelers once again & have gotten used to being squashed in the back seat with ten tonne of crap....but thank god we are off loading alot of it in Tamworth so they can have their back seat back & be sprawled out how they like it. It was a very uneventful trip and we got to Tamworth at about 6.30pm NSW time. As usual it is great to be here with Tanya's family & we are looking forward to having about 10 days here & catching up with alot of people.....& of course do a bit of Country Music stuff.
Good night from Alvo :)
Yes it did rain for the most part but the positive from that is Cunninghams Gap was just beautiful. The rain, the bellbirds.....reminded me of our family trips to the coast when I was a child.
We started off with a great radio station which lasted for ages then......nothing, so on went the iPod and we cruised most of the way listening to Alvo's playlists.
I was very excited to see my family and soaked up the Mum hug....I love that. Pop cooked a great BBQ as usual and we ate in the outdoor area which is lovely being surrounded by Mums beautiful plants and fishpond.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone without having to rush this time.

Haircuts & Readings
So we finally got to have a bit of a sleep in this morning till 9am....I finally feel like we are relaxing. we caught the train into the city which we thought would be a cheaper option than driving in and paying for city parking....WRONG.....man I can't believe how expensive it is to catch a train - $33 return to be exact....bloody QLD rail. And then I couldn't believe that they have plain clothed coppers to check tickets....what happened to train conductors checking tickets and coppers catching real criminals?? Rant over........
So we got our hair cut at our favourite place with our scoopons....lol....of course and we love our cuts & colour as usual. Had a very relaxing arvo and a beautiful dinner cooked by Gary & Marian along with a few drinks. Marian did a reading for both of us which was really great and very positive.
Am now finishing the night of with a bit more wine and then will be off to bed :)

Marian's Mansion
On our way to Brisbane today we stopped of at Maroochydore to see the lovely Tarran & Karen for a very brief hello as they are super busy and were about to open the restaurant.....Then we arrived in Capalaba to our very gorgeous friend Marian's house at lunch time and I spent the afternoon chatting (fancy that) while Tanya slept for 3 hours......We have finally met her husband & 4 kids and the puppies have made a new friend with their little puppy, Winston. We went to a Vietnamese/French Restaurant for dinner which was absolutely beautiful....and as we had scoopons it was a bargain :) It is now raining and time for sleep in this beautiful bed and bedroom that is like a motel room (thanks Laura) :)

The Retirement Village.
Ok, so you know they say you adapt to your surroundings well I well and truly did that yesterday at the retirement village.......not only did I do absolutely nothing all day including having a nanna nap I also caught Alzheimer's Disease because I forgot to write the blog last night.
Now the reason we were staying at a retirement village is because Judy is the manager there and lives on site. Now Judy is my Dad's ex girlfriend from the 80's and as I said yesterday it has been a very long time since I have seen her. I also got to catch up with her son Scott who was 4 years old last time I saw him, he is now 29. So apart from eating, drinking and talking non stop there is not much to report on my part but as Tanya ventured out of the Villa she will tell you what she got up to.
Yes.....I did venture out. I was up by 6.30am ready for a walk in the National Park with Gina and Bert. I feel that I need to be in nature right now so that is what I did. The park was just the medicine needed for a recharge, the energy and scenery was just beautiful. We then swam in the ocean on the incoming tide which felt great and Bert had a wonderful time out past the breakers.
I told Gina all about meeting Judy, who is just an amazing person, and told her that she had to meet her. Gina helped my healing with a reiki session while Bert was napping and then we headed for a drink at a great pub just out of town.
We headed back to the retirement village and Gina joined us later after the night time routine was done. The conversation had with Judy and Scott was very enlightening and just what Gina needed, they will keep in contact for sure. I am interested in reading more about the chart Judy did for me and finding out what my life purpose is and what it all means.
We are now headed for Brisbane and will write again soon.

Sayonara Bargara
Welcome to our first ever blog.....As most of you know we decided a while ago that we needed to have a break from work and have some US time.....so we have resigned from work, packed our house up and put it into storage and headed off into the sunset.....So this morning Bargara Removals came and did an absolute awesome job packing everything and then unpacking into our storage shed. Then we waited for the Carpet Cleaner/Pest Control guy to come and the Real Estate agent to do our final inspection. As we were running well ahead of time we decided that we would leave today instead of tomorrow. So I called my very old (not as in age...lol) friend Judy to ask if we could come a day early to visit her on the Sunshine coast and all was good so off we went. We have had an awesome night catching up as we have not seen each other for about 25 years and also to meet her very cool partner Brendan. So it is now after 11pm and my eyes are hanging out of my head so I think it must be bed time :)
