Another early wake up today and I willed myself out of bed knowing I had to go on the cross trainer....am getting over it already....lol....but I did manage to do 11 minutes today, so go me again :) Although Serena keeps out doing me by a minute...lol. We watched Tomorrow When The War Began, which was pretty good. The weather was bleak and yucky again but did manage to warm up after lunch and was then really hot. Then I began my Indian cook up which took me all afternoon but it was worth the effort as usual and was appreciated by everyone. We got a wild storm for half an hour which cooled things down again. The weather is just crazy at the moment. And congratulations to Chloe for getting her P's today....so very proud of her. So that is about the extent of my day and I am now looking forward to Tanya coming over to Coona tomorrow.
Night xo
Ahhhh Monday and no work.....First cab off the rank today is my good friend Kay the group fitness instructor, she deserves a massage and some healing so off I went. I then sat and spoke to my old boss and good friend Robbie about a job her hubby wants me to do starting.....tomorrow. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be on a road trip but couldn't resist speaking to her hubby about it. I am now gunning to start driving a dump truck at Boggabri tomorrow but need to consider my better half and our plans of going to the hunter and yes....it will be our anniversary. So I reluctantly had to phone Lindsay tonight and decline his great opportunity. He was gracious and told me not to worry as he would keep me well informed of any up and coming positions going and June is going to be big so lets hope we can strike a deal then. I headed home for lunch as my long lost buddy Nellie had not contacted me with her movements for the day and you guessed it....as soon as I sat down for lunch she proposed a coffee date so that would fill the rest of my afternoon. I met her at the gym so we didn't have to find parking for two cars and we hit Peel Street. We decided that coffee was not the way to go and walked into the Tudor with alcohol on our minds. We sat, we drank and we chatted about all sorts of goings on then wandered around town doing the few jobs she had lined up before she dropped me back at the gym and bid me farewell. It is way too long between catch ups with her, she is a great mate. I got home just in time for the gravy to be made and poured on my Grans best rissoles....I love them. Our night then consisted of watching Heartbeat and any other old comedy we could find before retiring early in readiness for our trip to Coona tomorrow.
