So I am thinking that I am getting way too much rest and relaxation as I woke up early hours of the morning and then could not get back to sleep. Although it is very hard to do much in this weather so I will just have to suffer.
We went over to see Pa, who is my dad's dad and is 95 years old. He still lives in his own home and looks after himself now after being married to Nanny for 70 years and she passed away 2 years ago at 93. Although he gets a bit confused on occasion he is very fit and does not take one bit of medication....quite an amazing man.
Then we headed to town with Dad and while he had his daily coffee meeting we went to the bank where we caught up with my old (not as in age....lol) mate Nicole, went to Woolies and then had a coffee with Dad. Home again for a bit of relaxing and Tanya cooked Kare Kare for dinner which was beautiful. Off to be at 8.30 as we have to get up at 4am in the morning to take Serena to Dubbo. Oh & 2 weeks till we go to Fiji....yay
Night xo
Ahhhhh I love the pillows here, sooooo nice. As Alvo has explained we went off to town today and did some shopping for my Kare Kare tonight. We also hit the bank to put some of our hard earned money into a term deposit and make it work for us as hard as we have worked for it. The weather is unfavourable to say the least and I am remembering why I first thought about moving further north. It is very much snuggling on the couch weather. Dinner went well and there are even some left overs if I need to find something for breakfast and lunch over the next couple of days. While at the coffee shop with Norm I discovered that Chai Latte made on soy milk is very nice and will be indulging every now and then. Early night tonight as we will be heading of at dawns crack to take Serena over to Dubbo.
