I have to start today by saying that today is 2 years since my beautiful Nanny left us for what I like to think was to a better place. I love her & miss her every day but know that she is with me in spirit....RIP Nanny xoxox
So I had a lovely sleep in till about 9.30 but Tanya was a bit more energetic & got up a bit earlier. We had some lovely fresh fruit for breaky and then headed off to some wineries. First stop was James Estate Winery who we are friends with on Facebook and enter their Friday competitions every week in hope of winning a couple of bottles of wine and have been looking forward to meeting someone from there.....and they love seeing their Facebook friends which is nice. Jackie was there today and she is extremely friendly and was great to talk to and the wine was really nice also. We bought a couple of bottles of wine and took some photos with Jackie and before we knew it we were on their Facebook page....lol. So Jackie told us a few wineries to go to so we headed off to Gundog Hunter Cellar which was also very nice and we just had to buy a bottle of their Muscat, then we went to Tempas Two where Oishii Japanese/Thai Restaurant is and we got some take away which was nice but nothing to write home about. Next stop was First Creek Winery where we tasted a few nice wines but refrained from buying as we can't stock up like we normally would due to space restrictions. Our last stop was Scarborough Winery and that too was very nice & the ladies there were very friendly. As we are very partial to the sweet stuff we had to get a bottle of their Late Harvest Semillon which is very yummy. So we figured that we had done enough for the day and headed back to The Vintage where we had a little snooze and didn't do too much till I cooked dinner....Pasta with Salami, Olives, Pesto, Tomatoes, Feta, Basil, Onion & Garlic...was quite nice. I have just spoken to Caroline about picking her up tomorrow to come join us & she is very excited about it & has got a few plans for us which will be very cool....you can read all about it tomorrow :)
P.S....Just in case you thought we must have drunk alot of wine today...I was the responsible one and refrained from having very much & was the DD :)
Night xo
Ahhhh Qigong, what a beautiful start to the day. I did about 30mins and felt so good afterwards, I am still amazed by the amount of energy it moves around. I then cut some fresh fruit for Alvo and I to have for breakfast. Alvo has told you all about our adventures during the day so won't repeat anything other than to say that all the people we met at the wineries were lovely and very knowledgeable about their products. Tonight I tried a little experiment with a good friend of mine.....distance healing, I'm not sure how or if it worked but did what I felt was right and will contact her tomorrow for the verdict. I am going to go with the flow regarding this spiritual journey, I feel really strongly about what I need to do and just need to wait until the universe lets me know exactly what that is.
Tanya
