After a bit of a restless and chilly sleep last night we woke up quite late this morning at 8.40am. We were up and packing up so we could take the puppies to the beach for a walk, it has been quite some time since they have been on the sand. We then decided that the table wines we didn't taste yesterday needed to be tasted so headed back to the Port shop. The lady in there was so nice and she had the coolest hair, which I told her. We loved all the sweet wines there but settled with a bottle of the rose as our space is limited. Alvo also bought a scarf at the Op shop there, we love looking in the op shops. We arrived at our new camping destination, Apollo Bay and after setting up and talking to a lovely German man who is about to embark on a 7 night walk, walked into town for a look. I felt like Pad Thai for lunch and the one we got was awesome and they even had cassava chips. I was sure to tell the chef of his great lunch creation. We went and got some ingredients for dinner after a cider at the local pub. Alvo is great at finding cool things to cook and we ended up with some pork steaks and this really nice Indian bean thingy.....it was delicious. It is a little cool tonight, although not as cool as last night so an early night was had. We are setting the alarm to rise early so we can head off to Nelson which is quite a way to go.
