This morning saw us having a lay in (again) which resulted in a late breakfast. Alvo had plans of meeting up with a friend at around 1pm so at that point I headed off to Harvey Norman after some more tablet research this morning. It is a little cool here today so heading off I donned a heavier jacket. My shopping venture was successful and I am now the proud owner of an Acer A500 Tablet.....phew, that was a process. When I returned I left the car at home and walked up to the mall to meet Alvo who was sitting in a noodle place where alot of Asian people eat so it must be good. Mariella, the lady Alvo was meeting up with, has not changed a bit and we chatted for about half an hour before we thought we had better leave the place before they start charging us rent as the girls were there quite a while before I arrived. As we were leaving the mall, shops were shutting so it was quite late in the afternoon. On our return the thought of a platter of nibblies was very enticing and my cold cider went down very easily. Ros made veggie patties for dinner with some greens and potatoes which were delicious and something I would like to add to my repertoire. A sneaky muscat ended the evening and off to bed we went.
