Rutherglen

So this morning did not look too promising when we got up & it rained on & off & we thought maybe wouldn't be a good day to go out....but we all decided that we would give it a go anyway. So after some bacon & scrabbled eggs cooked by Jamie we headed off to Rutherglen. First stop was Morris winery which was mostly muscats & ports which I normally love but was not up for today at all for some reason but Tanya was happy to try them. We didn't buy anything there & we left to go to All Saints Winery which was such a beautiful place and they had some lovely wines which we bought 7 bottles of. There was also a cheese tasting room as well which was just divine and Sue got a few nice cheeses. Next we went to Campbells Winery and they had some pretty good wines too. The guys there were really great and they let Tanya taste some of there very expensive muscats and ports which are not usually for tasting and also one that they don't even sell so she felt very special and was very impressed with them. We did buy a couple of bottles of wine and then left for the last winery which was Rutherglen Estate. We tasted a few more nice wines, bought a couple more bottles then decided we had had enough so headed home. We sampled some of the cheeses and a glass of wine and now we are about to have a beautiful roast chicken dinner done in the BBQ cooked by Jamie (he is quite the little chef...lol). I am thinking it might be an early night as work and school tomorrow for everyone and we are heading off to Melbourne. Also I am happy to say that Chloe has arrived safe in Canowindra and will be staying with my lovely Niece Jamie & her boyfriend Sam where she will hopefully get some work and learn heaps of skills from them both.
Night xo
