The weather this morning is....well....unpredictable. Ros suggested that we walk up to Box Hill Central to look for jackets for the puppies. That plan was short lived as the misty rain started to fall so after breakfast and a hot cuppa we drove to a different pet store a few blocks away. We took the puppies in for a fitting and the jackets were perfect. Little polar fleece lined oil skins, they are just what I wanted for them and they love them. A very good price and locally made. A quick stop in at Bunnings for some potting mix for Ros and back home we went to drop the puppies off so we can walk to the mall (yep, the weather has changed again). Walking around there was lovely looking at all the shops and we stopped for coffee which was nice. I was looking for slippers in particular and after shopping about found just the pair at a shoe shop were they have an enormous range of Converse and Doc Martins, it was very cool, and although they are grandpa slippers I love them and a bargain at $15. Harris Scarf had a sale happening so a new pair of jeans were found, I have never done so much shopping where I have just picked something up and liked it. Usually it takes me weeks or even months to decide on something, just ask Alvo. We also found Lindt chocolate at the bargain price of $9.95 for 12 blocks so couldn't resist. Before we knew it, it was past 1.30pm so we headed home for lunch. Ros prepared a great range of lovely food to put onto bread, or in my case rice crackers. There was olives, capsicum, pesto, boiled eggs, tomatoes, onions and a salad. It was just what the doctor ordered and filled the spot nicely. The afternoon saw us relaxing inside as the weather had turned again bringing more rain. I had a very frustrating skype session with mum, I swear we will get it together one day. Next thing it was port time and seeing as though we don't have any port I settled for a beautiful Gundog Muscat, or two, we bought from the Hunter Valley during our visit there. Dinner tonight was a beautiful chicken curry and greens, I have been having curry withdrawals so it was welcomed with open arms. We will be heading off to stay with Louise tomorrow so off to bed we go.
