Thank goodness for the lady with the Westies.

"What are we going to do today"........that was the question pondered this morning. Ros mentioned half a dozen things and then I heard the words "Brand Smart" and that was the answer. Brand Smart is like a factory outlet centre so off we went. We weren't looking for anything in particular, we were just looking. I love shopping. Ros came with us and sat at the coffee shop inside the centre and read her book while we wandered around. We did half the centre, sat with Ros and had a cuppa and then did the other half. A pair of shorts for Alvo is the only thing we bought and then we headed back home....oh, after a look in Kathmandu, I love that store. Ros whipped up yet another delicious platter of goodies for lunch and after we had filled the spot Alvo and I headed off to the Mall up the road again for another look around. The time then came for us to head off to Louise's place in Prahran for a couple of nights. Ros came with us and then jumped on the train and headed back.....after a quick stop in at the library. Louise told us that she would be home at 6pm and seeing that we arrived at about 5.30pm we decided to walk the puppies and then sit in the car for a spell while we waited. 6pm came and went and still no sign of Louise....so we thought. I noticed a lady with two beautiful Westie dogs standing at Louise's gate talking to someone and I suddenly wondered if she had been home the whole time because we hadn't actually knocked on the door to check. I phoned Louise and the lady suddenly said goodbye and it clicked.....she was home. So we had been waiting in the car for no particular reason and I am glad I saw the lady with the dogs standing at the gate. After a laugh we all headed inside and were so happy to be back in Louise's beautiful little home again. There was the popping of champagne to start the visit and then loads of chatting complimented by beautiful food as usual. The menu started with spring rolls, lettuce, chilli oil and some of Louise's famous mango chutney. The main course was garlic prawns on a bed of lettuce which was delicious. All with wines to match of course. The puppies are so happy to have their beds inside and are being so well behaved, they love Louise. Now the time has come to say goodnight and dream about the Moroccan cook up we are going to have tomorrow.
